This Viton O-ring is black in color, round in shape, has a durometer (hardness) of 75A, and is designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.

Viton has excellent heat, fuel, and chemical resistance. Viton is acceptable for temperature applications between -15 degrees F (-26 degrees C) to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). It is compatible for use with non-flammable hydraulic fuels, silicone oil, chlorinated hydrocarbons (trichlorethylene), fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene) and aliphatic hydrocarbons (propane), as well as high vacuum environments, ozone, and weathering. Viton is vulnerable to low molecular organic acids, ammonia gas, alkalis, amines, glycol-based brake fluids, and super-heated steam.

This Viton O-ring has a shore durometer of 75A. Shore durometer is the hardness of a material, and its resistance to permanent indentation. A higher durometer value indicates greater resistance to indentation on a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 indicating no indentation.

O-rings commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves and various cylinders. They are circular in shape, with a round cross section and a hole in the center, similar to a doughnut. O-rings are available in various sizes, and can be ordered based on required nominal inside diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD), and cross-sectional (CS) diameter.

This Viton O-ring meets standards defined by Aerospace Standard AS568A, which is the Aerospace Size Standard for O-rings.

This is a great case for the money! My father bought one of the "popular" cases on amazon for around $45. I bought this one for less than half of that. We both agree, mine is a bit better.

Pros: Cheap, and the gutter's in the cover of the case make it a more reliable stand than more expensive cases.

Cons: The catch that closes the case is rigid and doesn't fold back. When using this case as a stand, it doesn't cause any issue. However, when you have the cover folded back to use as a book, this catch sticks out. It can be a little cumbersome, though I have gotten used to using mine to actually steady the Kindle by hooking it around my finger. The more expensive cases use an elastic band instead, and don't have this.

Setup was a breeze on my XP system. Setup CD was not needed. Device card was immediately recognized and went into service. The network was previously set up.

I gave the device only 4 stars for reliability because signal strength from a cable-connected wireless router only 100 feet away fluctuates through the day, between good and very weak, and I don't know the cause. I suspect my cable company (Comcast) for delivering a poor connection; their customer service stinks, so I'll live with it.


D-Link WDA-1320 Review by Thucydides 1 (USA)

This adapter is Vista Compatible and its box bears the logo that states this very clearly. Not all such products have the logo, and experience is teaching me that you definitely want the logo that proves certification beyond a doubt.

Installation is a breeze... just insert the card into an empty PCI slot in the motherboard, close up the computer, and then screw the antenna onto the little gold-plated stub that sticks out the back of the case. Follow the easy-to-follow instructions that are provided, use the driver disk, and you'll be connected to your wireless router. You really can't go wrong. I'm getting 100% signal strength, but that's unremarkable because the computer and the wireless router are in the same room.

One thing happened that I still don't understand -- after installation and re-boot, I kept getting messages that the "ANIWZCS2 launcher" for Windows wouldn't do whatever it is that it thinks it needs to do. I googled this up and most comments I saw said to simply disable this ANIWZCS2 thing in the Startup of MSCONFIG. Or, you can download something from Intel called ICH9 INFINST_AUTOL and then run it. I downloaded it, but didn't execute it. This ANIWZCS2 launcher is evidently not something the D-Link wireless card needs on my Vista 64-bit system because I'm going to internet sites just fine with no problem. By unchecking the item in Startup in MSCONFIG, I don't get the nag message anymore. Still, it's irritating things like this come up at all, especially after a product and its software is fully designated as "Vista Compatible". It may not be D-Link's fault -- who knows? Anyway, that's why I gave it four stars instead of five....


D-Link WDA-1320 Review by Eh Schlesinger (USA)

Easy to install in the computer; not so easy to connect if you've got WEP security enabled on your router.

First off, the instruction manual says to install the adapter BEFORE loading the drivers onto the computer from the included CD. But, the "quick installation guide" says the opposite - install the drivers first! Generally I install drivers before hardware, and I did that this time and it worked just fine.

The trouble was with making it talk to my router and enabling WEP encryption. The instructions are very vague and incomplete about this. Also the install utility was worthless, unless you're connecting with other forms of security (or none at all.)

Fortunately I have another wireless computer with a Netgear adapter in my house, and I was able to look at those settings and make adjustments to the computer with the D-Link adapter. (Both computers have XP; the trick for me was turning off the "let Windows configure my network" option.)

To be fair, Netgear's instructions are no better; actually probably worse.

So, 5 stars for the product working as expected, 3 for so-so instructions, 4 stars average.

These towels and washcloths are larger than standard, which I find wonderful. They are very absorbent after washed a couple of times, like any towel, and best if use 1/4 white vinegar in the wash in place of fabric softener...this is a hint from a professional laundress, and it really works. Fabric softener coats the fibers, keeping them from being as absorbent as they should be.

The only complaint I have is that, after 2 washes, they are still pretty linty. Not as bad as at first, but am hoping this next wash gets rid of a lot of that.

Like two other reviewers, my chair broke easily. The collapsing leg, if given even the slightest lateral pressure, snaps as easily as a dry twig. My chair was folded and in the bag when I leaned on it while reaching for something in the trunk of my car. I heard a snap and immediately recalled the reviewer's account where a chair leg broke as it was being pulled out of the bag. Fortunately, the break was inside the leg tube and seems not to be a problem when the chair is assembled and I'm sitting in it. I thought about sending the chair back, but the hassle associated with that isn't worth it to me.

There are other chairs that are as comfortable and large as this one that cost less and won't break at the slightest touch. Buy one of those instead.

Upon receiving the chair I immediately opened it to try it out. It was very hard to get the chair out of the bag, and when I did, I unfolded the chair and one of the small support arms on the legs broke. I managed to fix it, but at 260 pounds I am now a little leery to sit in it. It seems to hold my weight well and it is comfortable. Buyer be careful when opening.

This product absolutely works. Deer do not come near or around it. I found it more convenient to disperse than say Liquid fence that you have to spray.
I recommend it to anybody with deer problems.

I'm always dubious about wildlife deterrents. I've got the deer blocked in other ways, so I can't comment on that so much, but I've got a terrible rabbit and hare problem--even when they don't eat plants they chew and dig and gnaw on young trees. This stuff keeps them away from the things I need to protect and seems to last for a couple months per application. It has a much more pleasant smell than some other products I've used, like cloves. I'm just starting on my second big tub in three years.

It was effective when first appiled, deers stayed away and our roses began to show life and buds.
The drawback is in our experience, you need to do this weekly to maintain effectiveness. It's been a month since we purchased this product and with a month's experience, we're pretty sure after a week of the appilcation, deers come back again and so goes our roses.
Product insert says a second application may be needed after a month. This has not been our experience. It can get expensive when you need to do this every week with the size of our garden, using up about one third to one half a bucket a time. We would be very happy if the effect can last a month.
Anyone with any suggestions on how to prolong the effectiveness of this product?

I have a ice machine, but the cubes are too big for some of my needs. I didn't want some small crusher that would be too hard to use. This was cheap enough to compete with the department store variety. It is solidly built, though it is an import (keep it dry) and works great. Makes some noise but goes through the ice fast.
Snow ice for cooling veggies and fruits (use double bowls) and the best, snow cones for kids (and 80 proof ones for the adults).

This machine is everything we needed. After several cheaper models from Walmart and reading many reivews finally decided on this one mainly because it looks heavy duty. When I opened up the package screws were lying in the bottom of the box and misssing from the unit. I thought another piece of chinese junk. The screws would not go back in, the holes werent even close to lining up. Like they just stuck them in the box so they would be there. Anyway there were enough in place to work and just in time for my sons 6th birthday. We have used it many times in the last several weeks and makes great snow cones and plenty of them. The main drawback was the very high shipping cost, but we are very happy with it so far.
